I hope you enjoy this collection of fun question games for couples! They’re perfect for date nights, long car rides together, or evenings in. They’re a great way to deepen your connection, learn things about each other, and enjoy flirty conversations.

As an ESL teacher, I often used question games to get the kids talking. I’ve adapted many popular question games in this article and made suggestions for how couples can make them more interesting.

Two Truths and a Lie: Couples Edition

Enjoy a game of playful deceit by playing Two Truths and a Lie. The game is simple: Take turns sharing three statements about yourself: two of which are true, and one which is false (a lie). The other person must then guess which one is a lie.

Spice up this game by sharing flirty or risqué statements such as things you’d like to do in the bedroom or fantasies you have about your partner. It’s also a great way to discover intriguing secrets about each other or ideas for future plans (such as making one of the statements a destination for your next holiday together).

Truth or Dare for Couples

This popular game is simple: Take turns to ask each other to choose between answering a question truthfully or doing a dare (a challenging or potentially embarrassing action). Feel free to use our example truth or dare questions for couples as inspiration!

Truth or Drink for Couples

The game is simple: Take turns to ask a question and your partner must either answer or take a sip of their drink (or do a shot if you’re feeling wild!). This can also be played with non-alcoholic beverages, of course!

This game is perfect for a date night at home! It’s a twist on the classic game of truth or dare for couples.

Try to make the questions flirty and fun so that it’s difficult for them to decide whether to answer or take a drink! It’s good to think of questions that either ask them to admit something funny (like who leaves the most dirty laundry on the floor) or encourage them to make some kind of criticism (such as asking them which of your outfits they hate the most). Check out our example truth or drink questions for couples!

Some example questions you could ask your partner:

  • Name my top three most annoying friends?
  • What’s the worst present I’ve ever given you?
  • Who does the majority of the housework?
